چکیده
A field study was conducted during 2021-22 at the Research of All India Coordinated Project for Dryland Agriculture (AICRPDA), Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, (Dr. PDKV) Akola, Maharashtra (India), on an ongoing long-term experiment initiated in 1987-88 under cotton + green gram (1:1) intercropping system Vertisols. The eight treatments comprised a control, sole use organics and chemical fertilizers, integration with fertilizers to partially substitute Nitrogen (N). results after 35th cycle revealed that uptake N, Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K) significantly higher Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) treatments, particularly T6 T7 where 50 percent N substituted by either gliricidia or Farm Yard Manure (FYM). Further, various parameters nutrient efficiency P, K were also found be INM followed T2 (100% RDF). Therefore, present investigation concludes Vertisols, involves conjoint different sources appears promising strategy improvement fertilizer as whole including Use Efficiency (NUE).

Maize productivity and nutrient use efficiency in Western Kenya as affected by soil type and crop management
Low soil fertility and high weed infestation are the main culprits for the declining maize production inWestern Kenya. Technology packages to address these constraints exist, but their effectiveness is likely to be influenced by variability in soil types and farm management practices in the region. Trials were conducted during the 2008/2009 cropping seasons to investigate the nutrient use e...
متن کاملEnhanced plant nutrient use efficiency with PGPR and AMF in an integrated nutrient management system.
A 3 year field study was conducted with field corn from 2005 to 2007 to test the hypothesis that microbial inoculants that increase plant growth and yield can enhance nutrient uptake, and thereby remove more nutrients, especially N, P, and K from the field as part of an integrated nutrient management system. The field trial evaluated microbial inoculants, which include a commercially available ...
متن کاملNutrient Use Efficiency in Plants
Invariably, many agricultural soils of the world are deficient in one or more of the essential nutrients needed to support healthy plants. Acidity, alkalinity, salinity, anthropogenic processes, nature of farming, and erosion can lead to soil degradation. Additions of fertilizers and/or amendments are essential for a proper nutrient supply and maximum yields. Estimates of overall efficiency of ...
متن کاملResource use efficiency of transgenic cotton and peanut intercropping system using modified fertilization technique
Of the several mechanisms that can bring about efficient resource use, the most widelyapplicable one is intercropping systems that can make better use of resources. The aim of thisstudy was to evaluate resource capture and resource use efficiency in transgenic cotton-peanutintercropping system and in their respective sole crops with using 25-50% substitution ofrecommended dose of nitrogen (RDN)...
متن کاملYield and nutrient of uptake of gernium (Pelargonium graveolens) in gernium- garlic intercropping system as influenced by levels of phosphorus and zinc under subtropical region
Field experiment was conducted at Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow to evaluate the growth and yield of geranium and garlic in intercropping system. Maximum dry matter accumulation was noticed during 120-135 DAP. Dry matter accumulation in geranium paired sole was almost equal to geranium paired intercrop. Application of phosphorus at 40 kg P2 O5 ha -1 and 30 k...
